German Creative Economy Summit 2024

At the German Creative Economy Summit 2024, future-focused topics of the cultural and creative industries were comprehensively addressed for the first time. In this context, Project Manager Christine Sauter and Professor Odile Limpach from Spielfabrique introduced “CCI Thrives” and discussed its impact. Highlighting the importance of effective data sharing and utilization, ongoing discussions around AI and data management were vividly demonstrated by the CCEYES platform.

BGZ project CCI Thrives at the Avant Première 2024

The BGZ project CCI Thrives made a contribution to Avant Première 2024, the world’s most important trade fair for cultural TV and VOD content. The event, hosted by CCI Thrive partner IMZ International and known for showcasing the latest music and dance film productions for global broadcast, provided an ideal setting for the project’s latest developments.

During the event, selected stakeholders from the various CCI industries were invited to a private presentation of CCEYES, a state-of-the-art data exchange platform developed as part of the CCI Thrive project. The event began with an engaging business lunch from 12pm to 2pm, where stakeholders had the opportunity to network and discuss the future of digital transformation in the CCI sectors. The lunch was followed by an exclusive demonstration of the CCEYES platform.

The presentation also showcased the first applications using the CCEYES platform, highlighting its practical benefits and the potential it offers for revolutionizing data access and usage across individual companies and sectors.

The successful demonstration of CCEYES at Avant Première 2024 is an important milestone for the CCI Thrive project and underlines the importance of digital innovation and cross-sector collaboration in the cultural and creative industries.

CCI Thrive at Frankfurter Buchmesse

Within the framework of the The Arts+ programme and the Aldus Up, a panel on “How can the digital transformation help the cultural and creative industries to take off?” with Rémi Tereszkiewicz (BetaSeries) and Thierry Baujard (MediaDeals/IMZ) discussing with Iban Carrere and Brigitte Brylla how B2B platforms can be used to strengthen the competitiveness of the cultural and creative sector.

In this context Thierry discussed the role of digital transformation in cultural and creative industries and introduced the listeners to Content.Agent, a B2B trading platform for licences and IP rights.

Both, Thierry and Rémi, presented the CCI Thrive project with its ambitious goal of fostering data exchange and collaboration across the CCI sectors. They demonstrated this to the audience using the B2B prototype CCEyes, a platform developed by BetaSeries. IMZ and BetaSeries are both partners in the project consortium covering thus a large range of CCI sectors, together with SpielFabrique, NISV, Centrica, Ars Electronica. Project coordinator is BGZ.
